In a place of great beauty is located one of the hopscotches more acquaintances and better preserved of Galicia. To the side there is a marvellous beach naturist of Area Longa. The settlement is clear of two groups of circular housings separated by a square that borders to the north on a rectangular building, indicate both of having been romanesque. One of the most supported hypotheses is that it was inhabited by the Celts, tribe of the presamarcos, and that it might be the Vicus Sapcorum of the Roman causeway Maritime Per Loca that was crossing Barbanza's saw.
